Professional Shipping and Packing Services in Chenango County

From birthday gifts to fragile items, our goal is to make shipping packages easier for you. As a retail shipping store for UPS and FedEx, we provide flexibility to choose the best rate and speed for your needs.

Authorized Shipping

As an authorized shipper we stay current on carrier requirements, including proper measurement, packing, and service selection. Our scales are legal for trade and inspected by county authorities. Save yourself the headache of package audits and retroactive carrier bills by shipping with us.

Professional Packing

We “pack and wrap” to ensure your items arrive safely. Our staff have access to various box sizes and packing materials to save you the headache of dealing with a damaged shipment. We have a package insurance program, providing a more cost-effective alternative to traditional carrier declared value coverage. Unlike traditional coverage, our insurance program also insures the cost of your shipment, packing materials, and our pack and wrap services.

Quality Packing Supplies

As a retail shipping store, it’s our job to source the best materials we can for shipping. Boxes and packing supplies can vary widely in quality. Purchasing the wrong size or type of box can result in wasted time and money. Packing materials vary in quality, and we also pay attention to federal or state laws regulating packing materials.

  • We have a scheduled daily pickup Monday through Friday (Saturdays during peak season). Actual driver pickup time can vary based on each driver’s number of packages at their other stops.

    • FedEx is scheduled for 3:00pm

    • UPS is scheduled for 4:00pm

On rare occasions drivers pick up ahead of their scheduled pickup window. If this happens and your shipment is urgent, please let our team know.

  • Our staff are trained on properly packing items for shipment. For each shipment we assess for box size, fragility, suitable packing materials, and proper labeling. Getting these wrong can lead to damaged shipments or additional bills from carriers (sometimes months after your shipment was delivered).

  • Yes! We source proper packing materials for use in-store or for you to purchase and take home. When possible, we try to use other New York suppliers. We have various box sizes, bubble, wrap, peanuts, and bubble mailers.

Are you a local small business and need help finding a better price for boxes? Ask for an owner and we’ll see if we can help you.

Fragile “stickers” do not guarantee how packages are handled by automated equipment while in transit. Let us pack it for you and skip the hassle!

  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO and FPO addresses. These shipments must be sent through the United States Postal Service (USPS).

  • Yes. International shipping is subject to both carrier regulations and government oversight (customs in both in the origin and destination).

We recommend calling ahead for international shipments.

What to Know Before you Go

    • Full Destination Address and Contact: We will need a complete address, contact name, phone number, and email for the sender and receiver. Some countries also require the recipient’s Tax ID number.

    • Detailed Contents List: Avoid generic terms like “gift" or “clothes.” We will use specific terms for each item (“men’s cotton t-shirt”).

    • Item Value: We need the approximate retail value of each item in the box.

    • Country of Origin: We need to know where each item was manufactured (e.g., Made in USA or Made China).

    • Leave the Box Open: Even if you pack the box yourself, leave the box unsealed so we can verify the contents for security and customs accuracy.

    • Restricted Items: Every country has different rules. We visit carrier websites each international shipment to pull the most recent restrictions.

Documents-only shipments are typically much easier to process.
